Quick build Modular Ground Blind Using SketchUp

So I use SketchUp all the time for cabinet and furniture designs. I through this quick frame together for a 1/2 octagon ground blind width is just over 6', depth just under 6', height 6' no floor will sent on ground. Windows 24" x 10". What would you different.

I am going to skin in black Coroplast I have had good success when using the 6mm it is tough and uv resistant.

    Should cost $150ish when done.

If you have sketchup and you want the file let me know

SWEET, I can't think of anything I'd do different.
Looks tall enough for a trad bow

By adding a supports on the ends of the back wall. You would end up 6 independent walls and take down/assembly in the field would be a breeze. Don't know what that does to your dimensions overall. but just a thought.

I think that looks really good. The only thing I would consider is to make it a little deeper. I made my hexagonal blind 78" deep which allows me to sit a little farther back from the windows. I think you have a good design there - I'll be interested to see how it comes out. I'm wanting to build another one and skin it with coroplast.

I will have extra Coroplast left from the front panels I will extend the depth by 1.5'

I will actually rip the back wall 2x2's in half at at a 45 degree angle each half will make up one side

same on the front I will rip the ends by 67.5 so they go together and make a perfect 135 degree angle. That way it bolts together quick. Each wall will fit in the bed of the truck

when you say 150, is that for the wood. Coroplast I get is like 30 dollars a sheet.

We've used that same design but with plywood and a floor and it works great

I just built almost the exact design out of wood, and I agree with John....I'd make it deeper. Mine is 6' at the center window, and I wouldn't mind it being a shade deeper....wouldn't want it any shallower.

We just finished 13 octagon blinds. I really like the dirt floor for quietness and maybe some scent control. I would shrink your 3 windows down . Ours are 16" tall by 8" wide and offer plenty of room for shooting and reduce the amount of light and "deer vision" in your blind. My two cents worth.
