I've been wanting to do the same thing but can't find a good deal on a blemished tank. Don't want to pay full price for a good one

What is the cost of the tank? Those are very similar to the Maverick blinds.
I was thinking about checking with Maverick to see if I could buy a blind without the window and door cut outs - just do them myself so I can make them the size I want and where I want them. This may be cheaper than buying a water tank. Also would be easier to transport since it comes in 2 pieces that fit in a pickup truck bed.
Hunt in comfort from our hard-sided blinds designed to last a lifetime and stand up to any weather. With no more yearly setup or takedown and 360-degree viewing and shooting, you'll be able to focus on what matters most, YOUR HUNT.

Check with Krivoman here if your just wanting a shell, they are pretty big and will last along time.
