Update on the camo burlap. It is in OK condition. Not falling apart yet but also def not new. Looks like my application of Kiwi camp stuff helped a little. I went ahead and added another layer of camo burlap inside around the front of the blind just to darken it up a bit more in there. Reapplied new cedar up front now we are all ready for opening weekend! Hopefully my son will have an LDP to share with y'all of his first deer!Last edited by TXFireFighter; 09-19-2014, 01:44 AM.

Ok I really like this blind. I have a long story but I'll make it short.
I have a tripod stand that was already on the lease I am at so I am using it this year to bow hunt out of. Well it has the rail along the top and very hard to draw without spooking deer cause you have to stand up.
So when I came across this I thought I might use the base of the tripod to make a blind similar to this with a hog panel across the front with windows.
My question is, I have a big roll of camo wrap from army and navy story. Do y'all think this would work better? I'm not scared to drop $20 in a couple rolls of burlap, just wondering if what the wrap might me better?
