2 point Sling for my AR
06-30-2013, 06:44 PM
Making a sling for my AR out of 550 cord. What do y'all think about it so far? I only have 6 inches complete at this time, and will post pics of the final product.

Very nice! How much cord did you use? My son and I are making a couple of rifle slings using a basketweave type pattern and it is VERY slow going.

This is a wide Solomon bar style. Altogether around 100' of paracord used. I also used hk hooks for the endings. The overall sling length is 42".

It works great, kind of a headache to put together. It took more time than I expected to complete.
