    Bumper Protector for Bump-Gates

I elected to make this rather than buy an aftermarket bumper because A) I couldnt find a bumper that looked good and wasn't to extreme-o for my F150 ecoboost.

    B) I really didn't want to weigh down the front of the truck with a heavy bumper.

So I picked up some conveyor belt from the Archery club that was free. This was thinner than what they are using now so it was going to be trashed anyways.

I then cut it to size and added some support straps.

This should work perfect when I drive through the neighboring ranchs with Bump gates.

    Total Cost $10 versus $100s

Nice. Reminds me the time my dad and I dang near totaled his little Honda truck hitting a bump gate.

You can't use Honda and truck together.

You might want to add some plate on the sides as well. The left and right side of your bumpers are going to hit the bump gate as well.

King Ranch made a 90° corner with flat plate on their brush guards, that moved the corner of the truck out further and gave you more contact with the gate. They also welded a strap on the backside of the plate to make a "T" and strengthen it.

I remember the first time going through a bump gate. Bump the gate and floor it were my buddies instructions.
