    Mustang engine dress up

So...I finally got they Mustang back up and running and decided..the engine bay is ugly. So I started tearing it apart again. I'm going for a clean and tidy look under the hood l. I have an uncle who uses the "bolt drawer" full of mismatched bolts, and I'm tired of looking at them. Time for an over haul.

I'll post pictures in a bit.

    Fingers crossed...

Noticed some incorrectly painted pieces during the body work, so off came the grill and all the hardware I could take off. Sanded and repainted...
      Here we go..

After this....it was driving me nuts....the engine had to get repainted..do I started labeling, and disassembly.

Do as I start the takedown, Turns out, radiator is clogged, so out it came. Then, I found out...water pump is in bad shape, thermostat housing too, so while I'm at it, it's all getting replaced. Might add well keep going at this point.

            I'm thinking chrome... :-)

I wonder how I'm going to pass this by wifa!

I'm tired, back it's killing me, back at it out tomorrow hopefully.

You mean kinda like this? Built by my son Nicholas when he was 11 years old! They have to start sometime. Harry's Hot Rod is just down the street from the house.

YES that would be sweet. I DO NOT want to pull the motor though, so I think I've settled on black. Maybe sometime later I will replace the intake manifold with a shiny one. For now, I'm going to rebuild what I have, repaint, and put it all back together.

Flushed the engine today. Water was super brown. Have the entire engine bay s good degreaser, followed by carb cleaner, now stripping the old brackets for paint.
