nice build... does it lock in the over water position to keep the cows/ wind from pushing back onto shore? might be able to weld a loop on one of the hinges and drop a pin from hinge support?

I put them over the water to prevent feed waste. All seasons drop a lot at the banks edge, and I don't like feeding coons, Now they are 4 feet over water with tank level alittle low. The 3/4 in bolts (shaft size) are suck down with lock washer to keep the wind from blowing them, but you can swing them over by giving a hard push to re-fill
