Omix-Ada, Crown, I don't have a preference on replacement parts, these are Crown.
OEM was rubber and had a little sheen, these are plastic and kinda matte.
      They fit well.

Remnants of stainless mesh headlight guards from the 1980's, now in the trash.

The instrument panel has a haze on the paint and didn't look right.

        Meguire's cleaner/wax didn't do much.
I moved to a rubbing compound and made progress.
Ordered a sponge pad kit for a dremel to get in the tight areas.
It sucked, the sponges would fall apart and the shafts kept scratching the paint.
It's taken a couple of efforts, but a better use of time than watching the Cowboys.
        Also replaced the glove box.
It's plastic, but an upgrade over the OEM box which was cardboard and had disintegrated years ago.

I read the whole thread from way back. Awesome jeep!

Personally, if I was going to buy a new carb, I'd just spend the $ on a Sniper 2 and use one of their in-line fuel pumps. There is no better feeling than hearing it start in under a second after it's sat a while.
