    Well, got tired of hunting from a tree in the rain:





    The opening will have deer view windows installed. Hope to get the walls started this weekend.

      tyler at deer veiw windows makes the best windows for deer stands. Me and tyler are good freinds. His family has been making windows for a long time

                      7'x6', its been fun tinkering with it. Under the plywood is foam insulation and I plan to put it in the air 8'.

                        What are the deminsions? And price for far? About to start mine and this looks great. I was thinking of building mine 6x6 or 8x8

                            I calculated it up before I started right at $500 without the windows. Windows are 35 a piece.

                              I built a 6x6 octagon last year.. I was able to move it on/off the trailer by myself with some large eye bolts through the bottom framing and a come-along. Putting it on skids helped alot and kept me from tearing up all my hard work
