    4x6 box blind build

I need four new blinds and decided to build one to see if I want to build the rest or buy em.
Dimensions are 6' long, 4' wide, 6.5' y'all in the front and 6' tall in the back (to give the roof a slope). If anyone wants the exact measurements I have them jotted down and can post em.
Started with a box of 3" deck screws, a box of 1 5/8" deck screws, 6 sheets of 7/16" plywood and 15 2x4's. $130 total.
I think all I'll need to buy to finish is the plexiglass and 2 sheets of metal for the roof. Should have enough "cut-offs" left over to make the shelves and window slides.

You should consider using 2x2 instead of 2x4, cut down on some weight and cost. I built 5 of those a three years ago and they are holding up really well.

Yea, you might be right (it's been about 15 years since I built a blind ) I looked at the 2x2's and decided to go with the 2x4's. The cost was not really much more and I figured the 2x4's would give more room for multiple screws and make the blind more sturdy all around?

I would recommend using some kind of sealer as a base coat for the exterior of the blind since you are using OSB. My buddy used a product (can't remember the name) that helped with the longevity of the blind. Just a thought
