Duck boat blind on the cheap

I know now why those Avery blinds are expensive, it's alot of work! But only putting $80 bucks into a blind versus $900... I can dig that!

    80' 3/4" conduit ~ $30
    Bimini top parts ~ $50

A frame to hold a tarp and camouflage material on and folds out of the way for transport ~ Allsome

We took two joints of conduit and cut one in half, then bent them and welded to a whole piece that was bent to the contour if the boat and complete a hoop. Next up nylon webbing to hold them in place while up with quick connects to adjust the gap that will go down the center, camo or dark tarp for weather protection and a ghilie net of raffia grass to conceal it. Ought to be killer when we're done

Ran out of spray paint, but weatherproofing half done!

Wanted to use webbing for the spans but couldn't find what I wanted. 3/8" nylon rope is doing fine

Going to pick pecans and stop at the hardware store for more paint.

Anyone know of some guys that have old shrimp nets they don't want anymore? Need something to attach grass too

Both sides painted and covered, now on to finding netting and raffia grass
