For a moment, I thought that I had bit off more than I could chew. The stand was heavier than I intisipated. Well, with the help of my Chevy I got'er done. Used a ladder to secure it once it was leaning on the tree. Ive never hunted this property so we will see if all this sweat pays off. Going live on this stand shortly....

Been there, done that....and cussed a lot while I was doing it.
Had to put up a big metal 20' double rail ladder stand by myself. Good thing no one else was there to hear me..but I got the job done thanks to a good rope and a truck. Where there is a will, there is a way....or where there is a good tree, there is a good tree stand !

The winch I had on my chevy has put up quite a few stands. Best thing ever working by yourself, but I still think it's a bit dangerous without people to help stabilize it side to side.Comment
