Deer Water Trough

Put up my new water trough a couple weekends ago!

You might get a lot of algae growth.

I painted my tank and put a camo netting over it.

Other than that looks good.

Yessir thats what i hear, i will be painting the tank green and wrapping with camo burlap. Also will be adding bleach once a month to water

Would have suggested you put the water in a separate pen about 30-50 yards away. I suggest never hunting over a water source if your property lacks an abundance of water. You hunt over their only or limited H2O and they'll move a long way away to find safe water.

workes great. Last summer during the drought I had GC pictures of deer lined up like grade school kids waiting their turn at the water fountain. EVERYTHING comes to it, including buzzards, coons, turkey, fox, hogs, pretty much everything out there. At the worst of the summer I was going through close to a barrel every 10 days.

How did you do ur enclosure? Dang that's awesome! I've just always thought it would be a good idea to have the water, just another attractant for game! Good luck huntin this season man!
