        Back to the bench....

        looks good but I'd put a solid top on it so brass, etc won't fall through all the time.

              We do this kinda thing all the time with pallets. Built lots of warehouse and work tables and stools with em.

                  before you go and spend a lot of time making it, keep in mind, pallets rot very quickly.

                  one thing I see with it is the gaps in the table top. how many times have you dropped bullets or a magazine? you might want to put a thin solid sheet on top.

                      Just cut a piece of carpet to fit the top and that will solve the problem of losing shells and also prevent splinters in your elbow when the recoil pushes your arm back on the bench. Remove and store the carpet when you are done shooting.
                      The pallets will rot , but they are free.
