My DIY blind build

You will be very happy with this one. We built one about 30 years ago out of metal with a pipe tower that is still standing in Waller county on some lucky guys lease.(we left it when the property sold) It sitting in the middle of two right of ways with shooting distances out to 600 yards.

No pics on this computer, I will find and post some.

I got a free 6x6 piece of new carpet for free from a local flooring place and put it down. Also liquid nailed 1" foam insulation board on the walls. Makes a huge difference with heat, cold and sound. Along with a battery powered fan and a propane heater its pretty comfortable.

what did the purlins and tin cost you? i have quite a few purlins laying around and had been wondering what i could do to put them to good use.

I think I have about 400 in the purlins and sheet metal. I did use some scrap we had laying around, but not much. The build was a lot cheaper than buying a turnkey blind.
