Well i have all the vinyl floor in the kitchen and laundry room out and got the carpet out of the hallway as well as the ceiling scraped in the hallway, plus a run to HD for some supplies. I'm going to spray texture my ceilings today and move my flooring into the house to get it at room temperture before laying it. My plan is to paint either this afternoon if my texture dries enough if not i will paint saturday and then i will get the floor down along with the baseboards which i still have to sand and paint. I'm so ready to have this finished. By the way that rotary hammer was a life saver on getting the vinyl floor up, what a pain that was.

Well i just finished spraying 3 boxes of drywall mud and now i'm waiting for it to dry in which i'm welcoming the break. Its beem a long time since i sprayed a room this size and i sure haven't missed doing it. I.m whopped plus i had a crick in my neck this morning. Cant tell if i still have or if its my neck and shoulders that are so fatigued. Its all down hill from here hopefully.

Well here is an update on where I'm at on my project. I did get a coat of paint on the ceiling yesterday but it still needs another coat. I just don't feel like messing with it tonight so I will get started on it in the morning.
I also didn't get my floor brought inside becasue it was late when I finished painting (9:00) and I was tired plus I have some drywall splatter that needs to be cleaned off the floor and I figured I would wait until I was finished painting to clean the floor plust I need to put some concrete level up on the floor in one area and I will do that after I get the floor cleaned. Then I will bring my flooring inside but that means I won't get to lay it untill next weekend unfortunately. I will probably try to get my baseboards and get them painted so once the floor is in I can get those up asap.
So goes the pains of rehab. It sucks having your house in remodel mode with limited time to take off. No more time to take off for this project so it will be weekends only from here on out. Hey gotta save some time for hunting season you know.

Well i'm getting my moisture barrier and pad down. I'm using 30lb felt for my underlayment. Its slow going right now but hopefully i get in a grove and start making good progress.

Looking good. It'll be worth it when you're all done.

Well my project is finished for the most part. It is ongoing since my wife has decided she wants some other stuff done. Anyway here are a couple of photos of my floor. I'm sure glad to have it finished and i think it turned out pretty nice for doing it myself.Click image for larger version
