Well after all that, my wife thought I was pulling her leg. She said that bird feeders aren't supposed to be that big. Some people just don't know cool when they see it.

looks awesome but you might consider replacing that rope with a chain or cable. I had a 5 gallon bucket feeder hanging like that with a brand new $60 timer. It got destroyed after falling 10 feet with a bucket full of corn on it. The tree rats chewed it down in about 2 days!

The cool thing is that our cat (the only one I have ever talked baby talk to) was stalking it this morning. Had 2 birds on the tray and he snuck up the back side of the tree and almost got one
