Hight of window

I building an archery blind with vertical windows. The blind will be elevated 6’ off the ground. I’m trying to decide how high off the floor to make the base of the vertical windows. What do you think?

Are you using Deerview windows? Standard size?

I don’t know if I’m right or wrong, but I’m in the midst of building a similar set up now. I’m making my openings 18” off the floor. 15” wide and 48” tall is the plan. Interested to hear answers.

It all depends upon the height of the seat you are using as well as your own stature as well as how far away you will be from the window when at full draw, assuming you are only bowhunting. Then you have to take into consideration the angle you are pointing at the minimum distance you would be shooting.
I would imagine that mikemorvan's 18" off the floor would get you in the ballpark.

A 12" horizontal opening isn't going to give you much room for a bow if you are elevated. Good for gun though.
