    I built a console table out of our old front door

    Our house in Austin was built in 1974, and a few years before we moved we replaced the front door with something a bit more up to date. On removing the old door, I realized it was nice solid wood, so I set it aside for a future project. Fast forward a few years, and a move to Rockport, and after I finished my workshop, I decided to finally do something with it.

    I enjoyed turning this old door into a modern table, and put together a video of the full build to show all the steps:

        Thanks! Yes, this saw was an upgrade (got it here on TBH) from the portable DeWalt I'd been using, and it's been fantastic!

                  Thanks for the kind words! I've got other projects in the works, so I'll share them as I complete them. My darn "real job" keeps getting in the way! Oh, and fishing. Hunting, too.
