Big Bertha #7 - Spin Feeder Build

Over the years I have built a handful of "Big Bertha" feeders. Time to build another! Will be a slower build, but I will post progress and equipment used as I go. Goal with these is always to over-engineer to make them last a lifetime. That theme will remain the same with #7.

    Let's get this party started!

Newly released "Varm-Guard" all stainless spinner plate. Supposed to "outperform" the Eliminator due to the 360-degree balance. I have an Eliminator and this one is much beefier and extremely well built. HIGH HOPES!

Going to conduit everything into a control box to keep all wiring clean, varmint proof, and easy to maintain.
Also going to mount a cellular game camera to this box.

Another look at the Varm-Guard spinner and it side by side with a new Eliminator.

I like the design of that. Will check those out for sure as upgrades to my current units with Eliminator plates.

Got her cut open this evening. First time using a steel diamond dust cutting blade, but got the job done in about 30 minutes with an almost perfect cut and no fumes.

Car wash then got the one plug removed and fitting cut off and the exterior cleaned up.

                            will tackle the inside next.
