Cooler for hanging deer

That's cool freezer, I was just telling my son about the hunters I hunted with in Ozona, Ice was pretty far away to get, so they had those big chest freezers. I thought it was for ice . . . no they field dressed the deer and stacked them up inside. I think they could fit 3 or 4. I helped them load a couple in the back of a truck for the long haul back to Houston. I've been thinking of something similar with the $ of ice and ga$ /drive to town. I was thinking drop the temp somehow so it wouldn't freeze the meat, just keep it cool enough not to spoil.

When I was a kid in the mid 90's we were on a lease in Ozona with one of these too. Worked perfect for us, meat stayed frozen in the cooler all the way back to Houston.

Coach, those are some big boxes! Can they be broken down for hauling purposes? Have anything smaller in size?

I could be wrong on the size. I will have to measure them when I head back to the property this weekend. They can be disassembled and put back together. The ones that I have are very similar to the ones in the pics above. I also have one that is 5 ft wide x 7 feet long x 7 feet tall that is already broken down and would be great as well. Let me know if interested.
