    Let's Build a Bow Stand

So I build this a year ago, but I've been away from the site that long. My family moved last summer and I have hunted this property for years. Always been a chair in the woods or something similar. Now that we own it and live here, I wanted a more permanent stand that will withstand the elements and allow me plenty of space for the kids to hunt with me. Built it in sections at my woodshop and then moved the sections to the spot for final assembly and finishing touches. Did it all myself, but definitely could have used some help. Dimensions are 5'x7'. Height goes from 7' in the front to 6'6" in the back. Floor is plywood and horse stall mat. Exterior is LP SmartSide. Deerview windows for the bow shooting windows and some el-cheapo Academy Game Winner window on the sides (mainly for ventilation). I got the RV door from McCoys and the elevator brackets from Amazon.

Looks great. I can't tell for certain, but do you have it staked down?

I don’t, it’s up against the remnants of a 100 year old barn with trees on either side. Plus it weighs A LOT. Probably going to stake it now though. You’ve put fear in my head, lol.

Well done, looks like it will last a long time.

I put one up last year. It's a 5x6 from plywood. That sucker is hot with radiant heat and now considering insulating it. Thinking of using spray foam, foam boards or that reflective roll out bubble wrap. Anyone have any knowledge on the best route?

Home Depot actually. Brand is called Pylex. It was like $45 per stringer, but they worked out perfectly.
