    Cellular Trail Camera Protection Build

    I kept having critters and cows mess with my trail cams and the solar panels so I built this unit to mount everything to. Anyone else done anything similar?

    Nice job…Definitely helps doing that.

    I’ve got mine mounted in a security box and secured where hopefully nothing will be able to grab any of it. I went with chew proof cables as an added measure. I made the metal stand and made the solar panel bracket with the ability to pivot for different sun positions. So far so good.

      That's a solid build. The antenna on the cell cams makes it even more difficult to secure and I couldn't make it work with a box like that. Those antennas can break off super easily and stick way out. You would think there has to be a better way for them to manufacture the antennas...

        I agree. The antennas are definitely the weak link when it come to potential damaging them.
