    Diy quail feeder build

I have way too many hobbies and on going projects to keep up with but my last little project worked out so good I thought I'd share it here. I have a pic of the outside but I'll need to take a pic of the I side to add to the post, but I made a quail feeder out of things I had laying around the barn. It's working really well and I know everyone likes to see the quail around. It's basically a raised base that I fenced with cattle panel. The inside is a 5 gallon water bottle turned upside-down through a round hole that feeds into a round chicken feeder from the feed store.i filled it with milo and corn. I've got all kinds of birds co.ing to it. My neighbor out west made a couple of these for the blue quail and we now have several large coveies hanging out.

I went and took a couple. It had corn in it but the dove emptied it.

That will work great but, if hogs can get to it make a plan to keep them out. I built several out of 55 gallon barrels. Dang pigs rolled it over 300 yards trying to get all the feed out. I ended up putting a 4x4 piece of cattle panel under it to prevent rooting, and two t-post to tie it too.

Luckily there aren't hogs where this is going. Not yet anyways
