Reinhart Target Repair

I’ve got an 18n1 Rienhart that over the years the rope handle has deteriorated over time. I enjoy this target for travel and flexibility. Looking for some suggestions on putting a replacement handle on it as it makes it easier to carry and toss. I worried staples, nails or screws will just pull out too easily. TIA.

I drilled two holes all the way through my 18-1 and pulled a replacement rope through the holes using the drill bit as a pull cord.

Not sure how it will hold up, my luck I’ll hit replacement rope with a broad head, I’ll just need to make sure I’m shooting correct side.

Looks good. Yeah. Gonna have to be careful with broadheads. I’ll try and post pictures when I’m done
