Wine barrel is now a sink

A friend of mine converted this wine barrel into a vanity sink. I'm still waiting for the faucets to come in so I can drill the top out.

I bought the barrel from Messina Hof and it had the original cork in it. This is an oak barrel from Virginia.

I'm so freakin' jealous! I've been wanting to make one for so long after seeing it in the King Ranch Catalog. It's a very cleaver idea and can really be a conversation piece whether used inside or out. Where I can purchase a wine barrel?!

Nice! I have a Jack Daniel's barrel (with cork) that I'd like to do that with. Just don't have a place I could use it in that capacity. Dad says my ex-uncle drank the contents by himself
