    New Knife approach

The past month has been a great time to play with some creativity and different styled knives. Got to use some antler from a buck I killed 7 years ago with my grandfather's olddddd 300 Savage (with it's original 2x scope)....great memories!! Good friend, CalvinRay, TBH bretheren wanted a little Star of David included in the horn handled sharpfingers. Kind of fun to see a buck memorialized in a way.
Also played around with anodizing titanium parts a bit more to get a cool goldish purple finish on the thumbstud and pivot on this desert ironwood liner lock. Learned a lot about using quality bearings and creating an amazing race for the bearings to roll in. Amazing how smooth you can get the action to be. Thanks for humoring me with the share! Have a blessed weekend all! Brian

You have mastered your craft, both of those knifes are a labor of love and a work of art.

kind to say, I love working with desert ironwood, NOT the smell, but the fingerprinting of the grain after fine sanding and polishing is amazing in person!

Labors of love yes!, thank you. I'll never personally compliment my own work though as I see that as personal preference but I do have my favorites, so, thank you kindly!
