Well, being the cheap skate I am, I decided to build my own layout blind(s) instead of buying some. Went to Lowes for all the materials which consisted of 1/2" PVC pipe and same size fittings.

Had everything "mapped" out as to length, width and height. I made it to where the "legs" are connected together and not glued into the framework so that I can vary the height of the blind depending on terrain. Here's the "lower" section dry fitted...

Now both the lower and upper sections still dry fitted and not glued yet...

Close up of upper section with doors. Used 1x 1/2" T fittings for the hinges and made some "stops" for the doors to rest on when in the down position...

Painted frame.....

Now camoed....

Doors open....

Doors closed...

I also designed this to "fold" up and does so into a 3'x 6" size and weighs only a hair over 5lbs....

Gonna try her out in the morning and see how it does. All materials total to build 2 blinds cost a grad total of $72.00. Take that Final Approach!
