Ive often wondered if anyone had ideas for building a ground blind out of old trampoline frames. Any ideas?

Sounds like a good idea, work it out kind of like a cattle panel blind. Only problem I can think of is that they may not be tall enough. Seems like most of the trampolines I've been around were about 3 feet or so off the ground. Maybe stack two on top of each other? Maybe just extend the legs a foot or two? I don't know, but sure seems like it would be plenty strong, and big enough for a couple of small families to hunt out of.

Had not thought about the hog trap idea.
And if a deer or other non legal to trap critter got in.... Nice open top to jump out. And as mentioned before.... You can find frames free all over the place. We always went for the 14-18 ft frames.

I know a guy who used a trampoline frame to make a quonset style greenhouse. I would think the concept would also work for a blind. He took the frame apart to make two hoops, one for each end, then welded some angle iron lengthwise to hold it together and tacked on cattle panels in the same hoop shape. You could then cover it with carpet or some other durable material.

I built a 7 foot tall stand from the legs of a trampoline.
