    A vent on top, looks like it ought to do the job and not weigh a ton.

      Speaking of the vent on top...a guy on our lease has a pretty neat setup. He built a box blind, elevated it, then attached a 20' section of PVC pipe, about 2" diameter pipe. Inside the blind, he has a battery operated fan, I'm assuming something like a computer fan, but I haven't looked at it very closely. The fan connects to the pipe inside the blind and draws air from the box and exhausts it out the top of the PVC, putting his scent way up high instead of down where the deer can smell it.

              x2. That is a great idea. I just wanted to compare it to the cost of lumber and time builiding one. I guess one good thing is it has to be a lot easier to move around as I would assume it is way lighter than a blind built from wood.

                    Shoot.................can't beat FREE.......If hyou look at the first painted pic you can see the water line markings...looks like a 15oo gallon tank.....Awesome build for sure and it should definately last a while.
