Did not make it but after having many rust out or plastic ones that the critters chew thru, I noticed at a home improvement store that a hot water heater drain pain is the perfect size for a 55 gal drum..made of aluminum and won't rust for $15.00. A little tie wire and a couple of holes good to go....

Just use a big rock on top....that's what I use...
