    red dot sight

I'm looking for a way to mount a red dot sight on my bow. At that age where the old eyes are'nt what they used to be. Anybody had any success with mounting one? Thanks for any help. Kevin

From one Kevin to another, I have this sight in a green dot, and I really like it so far. That said, I have not shot it at an animal, but have killed the heck out of my targets. I recommend this one for the money.

Actually, since you're not far from me if you want to come over one evening before deer season I'll let you get a dang good up close look at one to see what you think before you buy one.

Impressive! I really like the sideways mount, seems like it would be more stremline..

            ETA: More pics?

Question, is this legal to hunt with for deer?

yes, only draw back is you have to turn it on. but anchor point is not critical .the arrow will go where the dot is.

Thanks Slayer, that got the wheels turning. I've got some aluminum out in the garage. Thanks, Kevin.

HHA makes an adjustable mount for a red dot scope. With the adjustment you can sight it in and mark the tape for different yardages. Thats what I have on my bows. It can be mounted lefty or righty. If you get down to the Freeport area stop in and see how they work.

I've looked for the HHA mounts snd could not find them online. If I might ask where did you get it. Thanks Kevin

I bought mine on Ebay. There was someone on here that was selling one some time ago. You might post a WTB ad in the classifieds.

I have the OL-MRS ones. They are the adjustable ones. The on that Treed linked to is a fixed non-adjustable one.
