Making own punch bait

Fellas,

I am trying to make my own punch bait and need something like the cattails to make it get that "sticky, peanut butter" like texture. I cant find the cattails, and I dont have enough dryer lint right now, so what else can I use to get that texture? Would cotton balls work?

Also, in my "mixture", I have some pork, ground old deer meat, groud up perch, deer blood, hot dogs, some garlic powder, and some old Jimmy Dean pork sausage. I am going to add some cheese, but does anyone have any other suggestions. Thanks.

Don't worry about texture! Put it in panty hose and tie with thread. Or just use hotdogs

attic insulation will work just like cattails. You dont have to have it "sticky like peanut butter", if it is creamy use a sponge hook instead of a spring hook. Add a little flour to thicken the consistency.
