It's possible, I reckon! I sure didn't invent that highly technical term....

I'm in the brick bidness. I build stuff from time to time for fun.....and cause sometimes I can't find somethin I want, built the right way.

A batch of cabbage and a round of fajitas later.....here's what I've learned.

        1. The disc is too high above the burner, it's not hard to get hot.....but I could do mucho better with less fuel pretty darned easy. I'm gonna cut 1/4" or 3/8" off the top of the legs and try again.

        2. The top of the bottle does take a little heat....not much at all, and probably nothing to worry about. But I can tell it bugged my dad, so I'm gonna put a sheild under-neath in case he ever wants to borrow it. The tank never got close to not bein able to hold your hand on the top of the valve though.

        3. The antler handles get way hotter than they used to! You can't hold your hand on them after 10 minutes. I'm gonna tack a couple heat deflectors to the bottom right below the handles and try it again.....we'll see. I aint ditchin the antler handles, I don't care what I have to put under them!

        4. I think I'll go ahead and weld feet on the bottom of the legs too....just because it bugs me. And I'm thinking about a handle to load it in the truck with......we'll see.

I cut 7/16" off the top end of the legs to get the disc a little closer to the burner. I welded a cap on top too, so only dropped the disc 5/16".

Built a heat shield/wind deflector for the bottom out of some stainless I had.

Working on a handle now, then just some touch up paint and she'll be done. Wish I had my torch...

Notched, bent, bout to weld. I'd rather heat and bend with a torch....but it's at dads, so....

It's plenty stable, so I just capped'em for a cleaner look.

Gotcha. Didn't know if you were concerned about one of the legs trying to sink into the ground on the river bank or somethin like that.
