    GAP Camo Job on Rifle

Yes...another DIY gun camo thread!! I was trying to recreate the GAP camo pattern.

Used Krylon Ultra Flat OD Green, Tan, Black. Made stencils with an x-acto knife, 2" blue painters tape, and wax paper.

1st layer was black, then tan, then OD green. Used a matte finish polyurethane clear coat to protect the finish.

These cellphone pictures are bad, but here is what it looks like.

      Looks good,
But you put the bolt handle on the wrong side of the rifle.

        Seems to work for me

Never understood why 99% of all rifles are built wrong

              I agree.....
Seems like you'd want to keep you eye on the scope and finger on the trigger... But what do I know....

              I like the dots.....................

LH actions for RH people is great for bench shooting when you have a good solid rest to hold the weight of the rifle. It is horrible for freehand or less than solid rests because you then have to support the shouldered rifle at the pistol grip.

                  Paint job looks great

So far so good. I gave it about 3 coats of matte polyurethane clear coat.
