I got the lift kit from mission golf carts along with the front basket. The lift was only a five inch lift and I thought it would be o.k. but when I added the fenders they would rub when I hit a hard bump; mainly when i have a few people with gear. So I added a spacer up front between the frame and leaf spring so it gave me another 1 1/2 in lift. On the rear I bought a kit from parts store and added to the back springs, that one gave me another 2in in lift. Also had to buy long travel shocks when I added extra lift and I bought monroe shocks from o'reilly auto parts. I have had fun building this one but would like to do another or just put a bigger controller with motor.

On the paint job... Did you pull off the body or leave it on? Did they clear coat your cart? I know you said hot rod flat black but is it shiny?

Do you have much play in your steering with bigger tires?

No did not pull body off and there is no clear coat on cart. Also there is no play in steering at all and I've driven over some real rocky terrain.

What your range on a full charge?

Not sure on the range as far as miles but I've been driving it checking feeders for a couple of hours. Never have taken it past half way on meter but ever time I come back to camp I put on charge.
