Im plannin my ultimate deer stand build and Im looking for fiberglass sheeting to cover it with. Does anyone know where to buy this at? Im wanting a semi smooth surface and something fairly thick to hold up for a while??
FRP (fiberglass resin panels) can be bought at HD or Lowes. they are expensive panels used on walls in restrooms and resturant walls. They are thin coverings not a structural panel. typically come white or off white.

Ive looked at those but didnt know how they would hold up outdoors, any idea?
fiberglass blinds are resin and mat over a foam or plywood base. kind of like building a boat. cheaper than frp panels but still not cheap. best pratical solution is porch and floor paint over good plywood or siding. best siding is Smartpanel siding, comes preprimed but should be painted right away as the primer oxidizies and chaulks which keeps paint from sticking if you wait too long. 4x8 panel is 3/8" thick and about $22.00

they are made for indoors, fiberglass does get brittle if it does not have a UV inhibitor. Paint would block the sun, but probably won't stick well. those panels are made to be easy cleaning. (stuff don't stick to it)
Dude your a welder. Why arent you building out all metal
I have built them out of all metal but their loud and I want something different, I may use tin and insulate it but thats a last resort deal. Im planning a condo blind
It may sit right beside my hay bale blind Ive never even hunted out of behind the shop
I'm going with a metal frame, R-panel skin, & 1-1/2" insulated, carpet covered OSB interior walls & ceiling on my next blind build. It's either gonna be 6x8 or 8x8 to fit myself, 8yo boy, & wife. I may have to take a 2nd mortgage to fund it.
