Looks good. Why not secure it to the wall on the right and not block the 2 windows? If you screwed some pieces of barn siding through the tops of the horizontal metal (different lengths on the outsides of the diagonal cross pieces), you could get a couple of shelves out of the project at the same time and still keep your TV in the middle on it's own shelf.

I swung by the courthouse at lunch and no divorce petition on file. Actually she really (says) she likes it. I never would have had the green light if I had asked, but once in place I think it looks ok. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission at times.
