Nice meeting you too. As long as work stays steady around here, I'll be here. I was told that if things did slow down, I would be transferring to Shreveport to run an office. Not looking forward to it as I would rather be back up around Tyler.
Hey, Tubby sounds like you know you way around the rod. HaHa, couldn't resist, but seriously I totally agree with the low-high, it does wonders on farm equipment.
Here is one my Dad put together a few years ago. He is doing some touchup welding on the railroad spikes. It can pivot in the middle when hitting a stump. When in use, it has a piece of plywood bolted into the frame and usually a bag of fertilizer laying on it for weight. Works like a charm.
Dad retired from a 40+ year career welding after having a stroke in 2004.
