Roof is gonna be another octagon, flat, with tar paper and shingles. Planning to put flashing around the top as well then shingle over it.

Are you talking about each piece on the octagon? Each one is 3' long and it put's the inside dimensions at 7'X7'.

Also plan on putting 4X4 angled skid's under it, drilling them and running a 3'4" pipe thru it so I can drag it into place.

I have a gun blind I built like this several years ago (just before I started bow hunting), I'd like to build another to bow hunt from, but I'm not sure it's worth all the work? They are fun to build though!

Are you planning to build it offsite or build it with removable panels? I like to move around a lot and wanted to go octagon but couldn't figure out how to make it work with the quick take down/move.

Im probably going to build it here at the house with skid's on the bottom and let it sit on the rails of the trailer to get it close to location then pull it into position with a four wheeler. I have built tem with 4X4's for skid's and drilled them so I could run a pipe through all the skid's to pull on it equally. I alway's cut the end's of the 4X4's at about a 30 degree angle for about 2 foot so it doesnt dig into the ground.

Here's a couple wall's with window framing installed. Gonna deck the floor before permanently attaching wall's.

Oh yeah, it's gonna be a beast. I'm considering doing the wall's in 10mm coroplast but havent decided for sure.
