The Teardrop Build

    Today we checked the electrical wiring and made sure everything was in order. We left the a/c and all the light's running all day long so it worked perfectly.



    Next we started to install the back door of the kitchen


    open I left a gap for the aluminium trim


    Then we closed in the back part where the a/c and electrical box goes. we also should finish the hatch door tommorow


    Tommorow we skin the outside of the teardrop with the aluminum and we will also install the carpet's on the inside.

      Does the AC have a drian tube? Just wandering where the condisasion is gonna go

        yes it will have a drain tube, just havent gotten around to that yet.

                      Here is a modified tear I built last year,I love it.



                      Taking on a pig hunt in a couple weeks. It cost me one mile to the gallon to pull it behind the Jeep.
                      Here is a build thread, might gets some ideals.

                          It is 78 inches wide ,ten foot long ,you sleep sideways in it and that sure adds a lot of room

                            Thanks. Forgot to ask how tall? Looks about 48" or so. Looks like a good low profile to pull. About how much do you have in it? Looks more economical than most TD I have seen.

                              Is a cheap camper that does the job.

                                Thanks for the info! I have about 40 sheets of luan that I have been looking for a use for! Looks like it should be sub 550# also!
