Nice job. I like wooden bunk beds more than steel for this type of use. It's easy to screw some hooks in to the cross boards so you can hang shirts, toiletry kits, bows, boots to drip dry...etc.

My son needs some bunk beds in his room. We've got the queen mattresses and just really need a frame. I think I may see what I can do about building the frame for him like this one. This would be a LOT more sturdy than anything I could buy that didn't cost a ton.

Did you draw up any plans you can send along? It pretty obvious how it works, but some plans would keep me from some of those "doh" moments.
