    Mobile Deer Blind

I set out on this endeavor back in June to build a blind I could enjoy with my 6 yr old daughter. I wanted it to be functional to where I could pull it around to different areas of the lease easily. I have trailer jacks that mount on each side of the blind and raise it up to about 6 ft eye level. I learned a few things during this build.

    1. A finish nail does not feel that great going through your index finger.
    2. By continuing to think, "I'll add some bracing here, here and here turns out to add a great deal of weight".
    3. Time in the field with my wife and kids is priceless..

nice work. i have a trailer that i'm considering doing the same thing to. I'm going to make mine with a drop down ramp/door though so i can a load a 4 wheeler in to it going to and from hunting.

Looks pretty good - are you going to hook the fan up to a car battery?

Yes sir. Haven't mounted the battery and 12v solar panel yet.

My father has this same great idea. Having the trailer on the lease comes in handy. He used one of the pre-fab blinds made from fibeglass and it can be loaded and unloaded easily by one man. Now if I can get him to stay in one place!! Highly mobile.

Looks good I know you will enjoy it. I built a stand like that for my kids several years back, but out of steel and it has been well worth the money and time spent doing the build. Being mobil is great, just hook up and go! ))
