From the web
Social issues can include:
Labor management
Worker safety training
Supply chain labor standards
Product safety & quality
Consumer financial protection
I dont see supporting specific sexual orientations etc as part of that.
Stating ( and practicing ) non-discriminatory policy ( as I do ) is certainly required.
This is pandering, not social responsibility.

To me, it doesn’t matter what company you are, or what you sell, or product you offer, or what service you can provide…your focus should be on selling whatever you have to offer to anyone that can buy it. Regardless of political affiliation, gender, sex, perceived sex, sexual identity, etc etc.
As a CEO of a company, your focal point should be to sell your product to anyone that can afford it. Regardless of any social media talking points or pressure
Why do these companies keep taking polarizing positions on stuff that force consumers to make a choice????
Michael Jordan was asked in an interview once, “Why don’t you ever take a stance on political issues?” He replied, “Because Republicans buy shoes too!”
