The top leadership of the FBI need’s reorganizing. An effective checks and balances system put in place, and authorities of leadership drastically downgraded. Also mandated by law to comply with congressional subpoenas or face immediate criminal charges. Most Field Agents are good people. Some will blindly follow leadership commands even when obviously illegal so reforms are desperately needed.

I would not even think about speaking to the FBI these days without a lawyer if I was a subject in an investigation even if obviously innocent.

Remember they lie, cheat, and do whatever they need to do to trap someone.
