It will happen here at some point. My guess is once the economic meltdown really starts, it will get western quick. The BRICS movement is continuing to gain steam. Once the rest of the world decides to start dealing in something besides the dollar, the monkey poo will hit the fan.

When I say it will happen here, I don't mean that it will be people like us. There's at least 2 generations out there now that have been told their whole life how important their feelings are and how they are the most important person on earth. Think about the kind of meltdown that will be when they can't buy their soy milk or post their stories. Like I said, it's going to take a financial meltdown but at some point, that's inevitable..

Why? They going to play fair/no cheating this time? While I appreciate your confidence in the American process, there is no Hope left in it, that process was destroyed by corruption and cannot be restored without intervention by the people

If you are holding out on an election, you have already lost. We conservatives/libertarians need to raise our kids right, teach them how to respect others, participate in local politics, whether it be school, town, city, HOA, etc...and work every day. Lead by example.

If we do that, the elections will sort themselves out.

next election because our country can't take another 4 years of what's happening now. never said i have faith in the system. "we" as far as I know are aldready doing what you have listed, at least that's what happens at my house. don't think that is really working.
