The J6 Tapes: Yes, the Committee Lied
With the video evidence of the “mostly peaceful” January 6 riot now in Tucker Carlson’s hands, the American people are beginning to get the whole truth.
Now we know why Democrats and their media lickspittles have been freaking out about the J6 footage: Because they knew it would show that they’ve been lying to the American people.
And, sure enough, their fears were well-founded.
Last night, on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show, the January 6 Committee’s repeated claims of an “armed insurrection,” later downgraded to a “violent insurrection”; its abominable exploitation of the unrelated death of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick; and its improbable insistence that the mysterious Ray Epps was just some Oath Keeper rather than an agent provocateur were all demolished.
In addition, the committee’s depiction of Republican Senator Josh Hawley as a “coward” who was seen “running from rioters” and its smear of Texas Congressman Barry Loudermilk, whom Democrats said led would-be rioters on “a reconnaissance mission” around the Capitol building on January 5, were also debunked. Indeed, all of these claims by the Trump-deranged likes of Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff and Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger have now been proven demonstrably false.
“More than 44,000 hours of surveillance footage from in and around the Capitol have been withheld from the public,” said Carlson last night as he teed up the never-before-seen visual evidence, “and once you see the video, you’ll understand why. Taken as a whole, the video does not support the claim that January 6 was an insurrection. In fact, it demolishes that claim.”
“If there’s one takeaway from the corpus of footage that we spent three weeks looking at,” Carlson continued, “it’s that the January 6 Committee lied. Its members are liars.”
As we noted two weeks ago, Carlson was granted access by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to more than 40,000 hours of video footage of the “mostly peaceful” January 6 riot at the Capitol — footage that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi kept under lock and key during the entirety of her rigged committee’s J6 investigation dog and pony show.
Take the case of Jacob Chansley, for example. Chansley is the Navy veteran widely known in mainstream media circles as the “QAnon Shaman.” He’s currently serving 41 months in prison for … well, for what? In the footage, we see multiple scenes of Chansley peacefully walking around the Capitol building without incident. Most remarkably, we see uniformed officers showing Chansley around the building and even trying to open a locked door for him. At one point, as Carlson’s video showed, at least nine officers are seen just hanging around and blithely watching Chansley walk on by.
So much for this “violent insurrectionist.” And, again, he got nearly four years in prison while Hunter Biden and Adam Schiff and Jussie Smollett are walking around as free as birds.
As for Officer Brian Sicknick, Carlson and his team uncovered video footage of him casually walking around inside the Capitol building long after he’d purportedly been bludgeoned to death by a fire extinguisher. The truth, which was that Sicknick had died the following day of an unrelated brain-stem stroke, came out after The New York Times had disgraced itself. For the umpteenth time.
And what of Ray Epps? It turns out that he lied under oath to the January 6 Committee. At 2:12 p.m. that day, he sent a text to his nephew bragging of having helped orchestrate the breach of the Capitol. Unfortunately, he told the committee that he was back at his hotel room when he sent that message. Carlson’s video, though, clearly shows that Epps was still at the Capitol at that time. And what’s more, that video had been in the possession of Nancy Pelosi and company for nearly two years.
How could they not have known this? Answer: They couldn’t have not known it.
The Democrats did their best to keep these truths from the American people, and we expect other J6 Committee lies to be exposed with the yet-to-come revelations from Carlson and his team. Revelations like: What, exactly, was the FBI’s role in the J6 riot, and how many undercover agents were involved in ginning up the crowd and helping to orchestrate the violence? And: Who erected the infamous Capitol gallows, which, according to the mainstream media, were going to be used to hang Vice President Mike Pence?
It took far too long, but the entirety of the January 6 footage will finally see the light of day. And just think: Had Republicans not taken control of the House of Representatives this past November, the 118th Congress would still be keeping it from you.

Well what was one of those points the dissenters wanted? Oh, that's right, for McCarthy to release the Jan 6 tapes. And they made him commit to releasing the videos. And McCarthy did.
