    Oil storage in flames today

Apparently 3 oil storage facilities are on fire today. All owned by Pemex. About all I’ve heard. One is in Texas.

    This is getting old quick…

Factories, plants, warehouses, etc burning down. Certainly this isn’t normal. Or maybe it does happen far more often and I’m just now realizing it.

Well, pemex is the state monopoly petrol co for mex, so that explains it...I don't quite get the one being in tx they mention...never heard of them operating here??

                edit: New to me.

It’s not normal to have 3 refineries owned by the same company in three different locations to have incidents like this within 24 hrs

They need to fire either the head of safety, the head of maintenance, or the head of security.

That’s sad. Lots of families lost loved ones in these explosions.

Security, guessing there was some level of sabotage

Worked for Pemex offshore in the late 90s out of Carmen. Two worlds that don’t go together is safety and Pemex.
