    Go Trump and speak loader.
He didn’t take c—p from the media or other politicians, I been waiting for years for a president like him.
    He stood up for us!!!
They actually laugh about it, because they know nothing will ever be done about it. Just look at many on this site who just want to "move on" and even embrace DeSantis.

Yes, they are very conservative but if you wish to contradict my opinion based on one state, feel free. The governor, US senators and representatives are all Republicans.

The point is that Trump was not some overwhelming favorite in the GOP in 2016. He almost never got a majority but let the other candidates split the opposition vote. The majority of votes even in the final total went against Trump but he sat back as a fairly large group of opponents beat each other up.

If the likes of Nikki Haley, Ted Cruz, Ron DeSantis, Tim Scott, Greg Abbott, etc. get in the race, they aren’t likely to draw from Trump but from their own opposition. So 75% of voters in the beginning might be against Trump but he could win again as others fight for the 75% of votes to be split 6 ways.

        TVC,

Republican does not equal conservative. They are a liberal state. Just because their liberalism aligns more with some traditionally conservative opinions does not change that it is a liberal state. And Mitt is a liberal republican.

If you don't be believe me, take a look at the previous two governors. John Huntsman and Gary Hebert. Then look at their policies.

          Okay.

You have to be able to follow the thread or conversation.

DD said that Haley was in it to pull votes from Trump and to funnel money. That got a second from DfA.

I disagreed. I don’t believe that she will pull votes from Trump but will jump in the fray to scramble for the non-Trump votes. I then gave an example from the 2016 primary season. That’s it. That is all that I referred to. I even agreed that funneling money was plausible.

Your sidebar argument of what is a liberal, a rino or a conservative might be an interesting topic but it is a different topic. That goes with what the people from Utah think of themselves.

And rino, like castle doctrine, stand your ground, etc. is way overused. When used it has a cool kid feel to it.

TVC, your point was well taken. However there was a gap in the example provided. Utah is a liberal republican state, hence the election of Mittens. Wyoming is a conservative state, which is why they booted Liz. They voted sub 20% for Trump for opposite reasons.

Conservatives often flood the republican primary, so it's nice to see the liberal side of the ticket do the same thing. If Ron decides to jump in, it's really going to get interesting, and I hope no other conservative candidates jump in at that point.
