So for the first time in his Presidency he’s going to El Paso to save the country today. I just saw on Fox where they have been cleaning up some of the migrant camps and moving the illegals somewhere so Brandon doesn’t get the real picture of the strain that the local citizens are under. I can’t wait to hear his comments. He has graciously slotted 3 hours from his busy schedule to help the great people of Texas.

It’s common to clean up before visits. In Austin we did it all the time for POTUS. Fed tax dollars pay overtime for it. Started about 2 days before arrival. Overtime cops- crews with trash trucks, cherry pickers, and skid steers cleaning up. Police were actually told to do the job and throw transients in jail and the County would keep them until POTUS was gone. I never agreed with it but can’t say I didn’t make alot of overtime money from it. I would just go escort trash crews. I’d usually get about 40-50 hrs overtime between trash trucks and escort -

Neither dems nor reps have done anything in the way of meaningful laws when they have controlled the house, senate and potus in recent decades. It’s asinine that folks believe either party has ever had the desire and or the gumption to put a stop to illegal immigration.
Personally, 20 years of working for DHS/CBP/OBP and not one meaningful law was ever passed. It’s been decades since any real laws where passed. the current administration just bypasses the laws on the books anyway so what is the point of having or making laws.
Lots of money to be made in working illegals at a lower wages.

Yes Glen I really figured that was standard protocol so we can keep their heads in the clouds and totally disconnected from the real problem. And I definitely don’t blame those that are just following orders from above. Until we start showing our leaders the real world that we are forced to live in they will continue to live in a false reality. Some by choice I’m sure. They refuse to believe anything that their lying eyes shows them on Fox news and a small handful of other news outlets that show thousands crossing the border daily.
